Accessibility Statement
Last updated 7 June 2026 · Diligent Safety Training & Consultancy Ltd
1. Our commitment
Diligent Safety Training & Consultancy Ltd is committed to making its website accessible to as many people as possible, including those who rely on assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, speech-recognition software or keyboard-only navigation. We believe everyone should be able to find information about our training and get in touch with us easily.
2. Standard we aim for
We aim to meet the international Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities. We test against them as part of our ongoing work and continue to make improvements.
3. What we've done
Steps we have taken to make this website more accessible include:
- using clear, semantic HTML with a logical heading structure on every page;
- providing descriptive text alternatives (alt text) for meaningful images;
- designing for a colour palette and text sizes intended to maintain readable contrast;
- ensuring the site is responsive and usable on phones, tablets and desktops;
- making navigation operable by keyboard, with visible focus and a collapsible menu;
- writing link text and labels that make sense out of context;
- respecting the "reduced motion" browser setting, so animations (such as the home-page carousels) pause or simplify for those who prefer less movement.
4. Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts of the website rely on third-party services whose accessibility we do not fully control:
- Contact / enquiry form — provided by HighLevel / LeadConnector and embedded on the Contact page;
- Course preview & learner platform — video previews and the learning environment are delivered by VideoTile;
- Background video — the home-page hero includes a decorative, muted, looping background video that conveys no essential information.
If any of these prevents you from completing a task, please contact us using the details below and we will help you directly.
5. Getting help & alternatives
If you need information from this website in a different format — such as large print, plain text, or to enrol or enquire by phone or email instead of using an online form — we are happy to help. Contact us and tell us what you need and we will do our best to accommodate it.
6. Feedback & contact
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of this website. If you encounter a barrier or have a suggestion, please contact us:
- Email: info@dstccoltd.com
- Phone: +44 (0) 7495 768562
- Post: 440 Charter Avenue, Canley, Coventry, CV4 8BD, United Kingdom
We aim to respond within 5 working days.
7. Enforcement
The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is responsible for enforcing accessibility requirements in the UK. If you are not happy with how we respond to your feedback, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).
